How do you balance your time?
I fly whenever I can. I have been a pilot for 30 years and it brings relaxation and joy to my life.
Biggest obstacles and challenges you face or have faced
In my business, every day presents a different set of challenges. Most are entirely beyond my control. The personal challenge is to assess the risks and opportunities presented by an ever-changing world and find a way to use the facts, as I see them, to my clients’ advantage.
How have you overcome some of your challenges?
To constantly learn and observe the world as it really is and not as you would like it to be. The greatest risk is falling in love with your own ideas. Sometimes you are wrong. You must be prepared to change and be changed.
Professional goal in the next five years
To ensure that my clients will be safe and prosperous in these scary economic times.
Advice for women in the workforce
Go for it. Don’t let anyone stand between you and your personal greatness. Understand that some people will never like you, and that’s OK, because, at the end of the day, the greatest success is living well and knowing you’ve been true to yourself.
