Top 40 Under 40, 2011
 Here you are about to meet a group of people who know the value of hard work whether it’s in the office or at a local nonprofit. They also have some interesting ideas on how to improve the area and who they’d like to see at a dream dinner party. Many are concerned about transportation. Fitting then that this year’s setting for our Top Forty Under 40 photos were several light rail stations in Norfolk for the new Tide. Thanks to Hampton Roads Transit for allowing us to photograph near the stations. Thanks to Vincent Schilling for shooting the photos. And thanks also to our judges, who reviewed more than 100 nominations for these honors. It was no easy task, especially for those who were trying to do it as Hurricane Irene moved through.
