ABNB Federal Credit Union announced Chris Anuswith has been named vice president of risk management. He will direct all aspects of the credit union's risk management, regulatory compliance and legislative affairs.

Anuswith has more than 40 years of experience in the financial industry and became part of the credit union movement almost 25 years ago. Most recently, he was the CEO and president of Guardian Federal Credit Union and assisted in leading the merger of Guardian with ABNB.

William A. Gresham Jr. has been promoted to assistant vice president by E.T. Gresham Co. Inc., a Norfolk construction, crane and rigging firm. Gresham, a fourth-generation leader with the company, is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and has been associated with E.T. Gresham for seven years.

Robert Erwin joined the survey group. He has more than 17 years of experience in surveying services - including boundary surveys, topographic and ALTA surveys - and construction stakeout. Erwin is a licensed land surveyor and a graduate of SUNY College at Purchase.

Frank Walton of Tidewater Community College has joined the administration of Gov. Terry McAuliffe as an appointee to the state's Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers. Walton has been head of TCC's Funeral Services Program since 2007. He also owns and manages Walton Funeral Home in Virginia Beach. Walton earned his bachelor's in economics from Hampton University and holds a master's in counseling from Norfolk State University. He received his mortuary science training at Gupton-Jones College in Atlanta.

Brian Deibler, a senior tax and accounting manager at Malvin, Riggins & Co. in Newport News, received the Virginia Society of CPAs' Top 5 Under 35 leadership award. He serves on the VSCPA Educational Foundation Board of Directors and in a new position as president of the VSCPA's Tidewater Chapter. He earned his bachelor's degree from Radford University.
