On what's to come: "We've got more activity and interest than we've had in a long time in Pembroke Mall," he said concerning the increased number of national retailers inquiring about the property.

On possible growth due to neighboring development Virginia Beach Town Center: "Because the Town Center is relatively full they don't have the space for big box tenants. [Pembroke Mall] is complementing the Town Center; they're not competitive. I think that will help Pembroke Mall a lot and give it an [advantage] that other malls don't have.

A lot of times you will see 'Pembroke Mall at Town Center' now.

On the Constitution Drive extension to Bonney Road: "The new Constitution Drive extension will be open in October. You will be able to go all the way around Pembroke Mall. Constitution Drive becomes Jeanne Street - you can avoid the Independence Boulevard and Virginia Beach Boulevard traffic."
