Construction is under way for a new research facility for LifeNet Health in Virginia Beach. The new Proton Therapy Institute at Hampton University is treating patients. Advances continue in research at Eastern Virginia Medical School and the Virginia Modeling Analysis and Simulation Center in Suffolk.
