Founded in 1985, the Hampton Roads’ Business Hall of Fame honors individuals whose business innovations, effective management and civic involvement have made a major impact and positive difference in companies and communities throughout Hampton Roads, America’s First Region.
Inductees’ records of achievement must demonstrate: Business Excellence; Courageous thinking and actions; Visionary, innovative leadership; and Community involvement. Through these accomplishments, Laureates serve as role models for the next generation of business leaders, many of whom are currently Junior Achievement students.
Proceeds from the black-tie dinner and awards ceremony benefit Junior Achievement throughout America’s First Region. Junior Achievement brings the real world into the classroom and after-school settings with hands-on experiences that teach young people about business, financial literacy, workforce readiness - - the economics of life.
In the Greater Hampton Roads Region, over 300 volunteers from the business and military communities help Junior Achievement make a positive impact on the lives of over 9,000 K-12 students each year.
Congratulations to this year’s Laureates
